The ECAM Alumni Association is an association under the French law of 1901.

In other words, it is a non-profit association whose mission is simple: to be at the service of all Alumni members from ECAM LaSalle juries, without any "expiration date".

Today, it is your contributions that allow the accomplishment of this great mission, so we need you!

In this new format dedicated to the different reasons to contribute, here is an article dedicated to the 4 main reasons that could convince you to help your association.

It's the perfect opportunity to understand what each of your actions are for and to measure their impact!

#1. To hire a General Secretariat with qualified people and to create links!

Since the Association has existed, fundamental missions have been identified and others have been added as time goes by.

As guarantors of stability and durability, and attentive to changes in order to constantly adapt to the needs of such a large community, the employees secure the practices!

• Qualification of your data for the publication of a directory that is updated daily
• Management of numerous accessible and free events such as Afterworks, JRAs or New Member Webinars
• Management of communication actions: social networks, paper journals, online diaries, directories, portraits, network announcements, targeted communication, web spaces
• Continuous improvement of the user experience within the Association
• Accompaniment and training in the tools for ECAMs in difficulty or seeking employment
• Link workers: with ECAM students and pedagogical teams, with the IESF, the InterAlumni community and the Association's partners
• Management of the Association's membership fees and treasury
• A physical and phone permanence in Fourvière to centralize requests, coordinate actions and offer proximity to its members

#2. Create and animate targeted content

Our communication actions are multiple, agile and adapted to each need or new initiative brought by a member.

The Association's communication department arbitrates, promotes and coordinates all ECAM Alumni communications according to an established communication plan.

• Promotion of the Association's offers and partner offers (Jobs, Careers, cultural, etc.) made to the networks
• Defense of the ECAM - ECAM LaSalle brand and diplomas
• Creation and distribution of a paper, digital and interactive directory
• Animation of social networks (creation, interaction, monitoring)
• Promotion of ECAM courses and network initiatives (portraits, announcements, fundraising, events, etc.)
• Creation of evolving modules according to the needs of the community (e.g.: private spaces, opportunities module, start-up space, promotions space, etc.)
• Creation of educational content for students and explanatory and technical content for ambassadors
• Perenniality of the ECAM link and identity: guarantees of a form of cohesion on the common values

#3. Gathering, animating and managing a community of volunteers invested in the service of a network and a federative link

ECAM Alumni is an association that represents more than 9,000 people.

As you can see, managing such a community requires organization and many people. This is why the animation and support of a pool of volunteers is necessary.

• Data qualification and profile matching
• Ongoing training given to active volunteers on ECAM Alumni tools in order to gain efficiency and autonomy
• Without volunteers, little can be done: there is strength in numbers!
• Elected officials and their governance are organized to decide on strong actions and missions
• Promotional delegates and regional or event coordinators are essential: they act as a link between members or territories
• The ambassadors and presidents of the regions carry out the association's missions in all the territories : they share passions or thoughts on your professions or career problems, while being actors in the event offer
• Students already invested in their future status as Alumni are also mobilized: they give visibility and share their experience with other students

One of the missions of ECAM Alumni is to defend and support ECAM LaSalle graduates, all degrees and classes included

This requires the ability to highlight the profession while knowing how to defend the training and expertise. Being an engineer today offers perspectives and links with other graduates.
