Visit to Sainte-Anne church and Chatel forest

Your ECAM Alumni delegation of the Auvergne / Limousin group is pleased to offer you a new event:

DATE: SUNDAY, June 9, 2024

LOCATION: CHATEL-GUYON

Estimated budget: 30 euros/person for the meal

On the program:

9:30 am - Arrival at the parking lot under the Sainte Anne church (under the municipal police station)

10h - Discovery of the sculptures in the Chatel forest, more than 65 sculptures have been cut with a chainsaw by an employee of our commune's green spaces, and it's an artist's work.
I'll show you around forty of them. Distance: max. 4 km on flat ground; walking shoes preferable if it's raining (or has rained).

12pm Return to parking lot

12:30 p.m. This activity is subject to the number of participants.
For 15 people, the hotel 200 meters from the church is ideal, but if there were more than 20, they wouldn't be able to take us because there are curists to feed.
To see if I'm still on the right track, could you put out a survey, even if the date is a long way off?
In that case, the maximum price (aperitif + meal + wine) wouldn't exceed 30€.

2:30 pm : After lunch, visit the church; Guy will be our guide.
Nearly 1,000m2 of frescoes were painted by an immensely talented frescoist in Byzantine technique and style in 1956. Normal length of visit: approx. 1h30

In order to be able to reserve the most suitable restaurant for our number of guests, we ask you to consider registering in order to obtain the most accurate estimate of the number of guests at lunch (adults and children).
