Genealogy, one of the world's oldest sciences, is the objective and exhaustive study of the ancestry and descent of individuals, their family relationships, their physical, intellectual and moral characteristics, and their private and public biographies. It leads to a complete understanding of the families within which the individual develops hereditary and social data in an original way. It is useful for genetics, demography and social history.
