Conference: Electrician Without Borders, an engineering NGO

Electriciens sans frontières is a French NGO with 1,200 volunteers, including 110 in Lyon, most of whom are engineers. access to drinking water and electricity in the countries that need it most (120 projects underway in nearly 40 countries).

We'll be talking about a global Electriciens sans frontières initiative called " Café Lumiè ;re".

Electriciens sans frontières systematically relies on other NGOs in the countries where the projects are carried out , to ensure the sustainability of investments. We'll be talking about our partnership with " Betso na Betso ", a Lyon-based NGO set up in 2015 by volunteers from the Mbam region of Cameroon.

Speakers:

Philippe Goutagneux, ECAM 1985, has spent his entire career in medium and low-voltage distribution with Alstom and Schneider Electric, and is currently project manager at Electriciens sans frontières in Lyon.

Aurélie Mpele is of Cameroonian origin and has lived in Lyon for many years. She is Betso na Betso's communications manager.
